FormscanBy Gary Carson - ON THE SOD takes a drop in class and may be able to dominate against these rivals. The Ask gelding has been competing against the best hunter chasers and was pulled up at Punchestown on his last outing. The five time point-to-point winner was a solid third in the Tetratema Cup at Gowran in March and that looks stand out form in the context of this race. Timewaitsfornoone also ran in the Champion Hunters Chase at Punchestown when finishing a well beaten ninth. That was his first outing for two years so he could improve and on his old hunter chase form he'd be a big player. Sliabh Mhuire Lass gained a deserved 'track' win at Tipperary just over two weeks ago but this looks tougher now.
