FormscanBy Gary Carson - With nine winners in the field this looks a cracking contest and the vote goes to the Dermot McLoughlin-trained IMPERIAL RULER. He looked an exciting prospect when making an impressive debut at Tipperary in May in a strong looking winners contest. The Imperial Monarch gelding has a Flat pedigree so hopefully better ground now shouldn't be an issue. Willie Mullins runs two fillies that won on their debuts and Patrick sides with Ashroe Diamond. The Walk In The Park filly won as she liked on her debut at Wexford and commands utmost respect. Emmet Mullins goes one better than his uncle with three runners and it will be interesting to see which of the trio is best fancied. Lahinch Three looked nice on his debut at Kilbeggan and there should be more to come from the Beat Hollow gelding.
