FormscanBy Mark Nunan - Having been a fast-finishing second on his seasonal reappearance at Leopardstown, GOLDEN VALOUR did little wrong when fifth in a higher grade over 7f at this track. Stepping up to a mile should suit the Kingman gelding who looks handicapped to win a race of this nature. Hale Bopp won a maiden at Dundalk in October and is very unexposed for this handicap debut against his elders. Larado made the most of a good draw when scoring at Leopardstown and this will be tougher while Leabaland was in good heart when last seen but may need this first run since November. Kosman ran well when placed last time and should give Wesley Joyce, who recently rode his first winner, a good spin.
