FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SHUMAKER reverts to the flat following a successful period over hurdles and can win from his low rating. He initially showed just modest ability before showing improvement in his point to points and while beaten on his last two flat starts in 2019 from the basement 45 rating, did progress dramatically over hurdles afterwards. Today's trip and reasonably easy ground will suit and while he would be a late-comer to flat racing were he to win aged eight, his hurdles form in recent times is difficult to ignore. Jeff Kidder brings good recent form here, having shown improvement to finish second over this trip at Sligo. He gained his handicap mark having raced over shorter trips but could well progress quite a bit now, being a 3yo who clearly stays well. Dream Point's only previous win was gained in a Claimer but ran well at Dundalk eight days ago and has a place chance. %0A
