FormscanBy Mark Nunan - UNANSWERED is on a roll and is hard to oppose. Tony Martin’s charge followed up two wins on the Flat with an emphatic success over hurdles at Punchestown and can defy a 13lb hike. He needs plenty of pushing but finds plenty off the bridle and can take this en route to Galway later in the month. Colm Murphy had a nice winner at Bellewstown on Saturday and his Wexford runner-up Gondor may be next best. That was a good effort after eighteen months out of action and he’s now fitted with a tongue-tie. Presenting Lad has a win and a second to his name at this venue and would have gone close in last year’s renewal but for falling two out. Given his fine track record, he’s likely to give a good account of himself again.
