FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - FELIX DESJY is a fair sight when in full flow, as he showed again in a Navan two mile Flat maiden in July. That race was effectively over from an early stage, and his rivals never got a sniff of the strong galloping front-runner. For whatever reason he didn’t get away the way Keith Donoghue would have liked in the Galway Hurdle, and ended up falling at the second. The chestnut was subsequently found to have blood at the nostrils, possibly as a result of the tumble. Hopefully Felix Desjy is well recovered now from that unfortunate late July experience. He could be very good at this game and it should be remembered that he really impressed in a point-to-point for Eddie Hales, under Declan Queally, at Dromahane in March 2017. Le Musigny and Raya Time give Henry de Bromhead strong prospects of taking a major share of the prize-fund.
