FormscanBy Gary Carson - Very little to go on here and the token choice goes to the Gordon Elliott-trained TRUST ME NATE. The Nathaniel gelding is a half-brother to a winner in France and their dam is a winning half-sister to a decent sort in the US, Midnight Line, who was a Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed. Emmet Mullins gives his cousin Patrick the leg up on Camacho gelding Scholes and he deserves utmost respect. He is related to plenty of winners on the Flat and Mullins has held on to him after he was originally bought as a breeze-up horse. Hansard is the only runner with previous form but would need to step forward considerably after finishing a moderate fourth to the impressive Mercurey on his debut at Gowran.
