FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - Michael Hourigan junior has booked Colin Keane for EASTERN TORNADO, and the Canford Cliffs gelding is taken to a go a place better after a Sligo silver medal nearly a fortnight back. The four-year-old made an encouraging handicap debut at the Cleveragh venue, when finding just Dazzling Darren too strong. Eastern Tornado has plenty to learn about racing yet, but with the champion jockey on his back and off a three pound higher mark he’s in a great position to progress. Out of a dam by Halling, one could imagine Eastern Tornado enjoying the stamina test that a mile and five around Navan presents. Many others have prospects as well, including Oh So Chic (handicap first-timer) for high profile connections.
