FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Triumph Hurdle winner QUILIXIOS can maintain his perfect 5-5 (one win in France) race-record. QUILIXIOS was professional at Cheltenham and while Zanahiyr was a shade disappointing, QUILIXIOS can take beating if reproducing his form. Zanahiyr ran in a first-time tongue-tie when fourth in the Triumph and was caught for pace turning for home. While beaten 4.75L by QUILIXIOS, Zanahiyr finished his race quite well but, possibly being more a staying type, dropping down a furlong isn't ideal today. Haut En Couleurs won on debut at Auteuil in October and reappeared when third in the Triumph. He ran a very solid race then and being lightly-raced, is open to improvement but might struggle to win. Jeff Kidder is progressive and while a Grade 2 winner at Fairyhouse, is held by Zanahiyr on Christmas form. Saint Sam, has finished second to QUILIXIOS, Jeff Kidder and Zanahiyr while Zoffanien is a progressive handicapper but faces a stiff task. Fine prospect Palace Rock won despite being novicey on jumps debut and lacks experience while French trained winner Mica Malpic has his first run since finishing last in October.
