FormscanBy Mark Nunan - TIGER VOICE had Pakens Rock back in fifth when making a winning debut over fences over course and distance last month. He was travelling well when tipping up two out last time at Punchestown, leaving Jack Hackett to go on and score. The fact that he’s a Flat-bred who started on the level in his native country might raise some doubts as to whether he’ll retain enthusiasm for jumping fences, particularly after a fall, but he gets the vote to bounce back. Pakens Rock put race fitness to good use when beating Thatsy here earlier in the month and he’s a three-time winner at Ballybrit. A very likeable sort, he’ll give a good account again. Chatham Street Lad was well-in compared to his hurdles mark when landing a gamble at Ballinrobe, but he won readily and isn’t to be taken lightly. Brace Yourself won a weak enough contest at Gowran and has more on his plate here.
