FormscanBy Donal Murphy - LOUDEST WHISPER is back to defend her crown after claiming this contest twelve months ago. Trained locally by Eamonn Delaney, the daughter of Maxios has been ultra-consistent at Bellewstown and has finished no worse than third in nine visits to the venue. She filled the runner-up spot on her last two starts and another bold bid can be expected from her now. Gavin Cromwell saddles four of the fifteen set to take part, with top-weight Bentham, who has been out of form of late, two from two at Bellewstown. Cromwell is also represented by Aprils Joy and Hascouer Clermont, who are both likely to have plenty of supporters. Yenillik was an easy winner on his handicap debut at Wexford and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow-up here with Rachael Blackmore booked to ride. A Different World will appreciate an ease in the ground and he should give a good account of himself, while others for the shortlist are handicap debutant Bang On Target, Hereditary Rule and Alice O'Byrne.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-109Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
