FormscanBy Alan Magee - SOLOMN GRUNDY was a useful handicap chaser a few years ago when placed in the Paddy Power Chase at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and won a couple of point-to-points when switched to Sean Doyle last autumn. The Westerner gelding has progressed nicely in three hunter chase outings since and accounted for a number of these rivals when taking the Tetratema Cup in good style at Gowran Park last month. Jury Duty has won six times and earned over 200,000 in prize-money with a career high rating over fences of 156. He still retains plenty of ability as evidenced by a defeat of Stand Up And Fight at Thurles in February. Dylrow should benefit from his recent run behind the selection, while Cloudy Tuesday scored in good style at Thurles but has more on his plate here.

Rules or Rules of Racing after 1st March, 2020 other than a Certified Hunters Steeplechase or a Farmers RaceWeights - 5-y-o 11st 11lbs 6-y-o and up 12st 2lbs Mares allowed 7lbsRiders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. ? A Hunters Certificate valid in accordance with Rule 78 for the 2020/2021 season for each horse engaged must be registered at the Offices of the I.N.H.S. Committee, The Curragh, Co. Kildare not later than 29th March, 2021 or the horse will not be qualified to start. In the case of horses from Great Britain, Hunters (Master of Hounds) Certificates must have been duly registered at the Racing Calendar Office, Wellingborough. The Stewards of the I.N.H.S. Committee have modified the Rules to permit horses for which Master of Hounds Certificates have been registered with the Jockey Club and which are eligible to run in Hunters Steeplechases in Great Britain to run in this race. However, horses with a Master of Hounds Certificate that have run in any race other than a Hunters' Steeplechase since 1st November, 2020 are excluded. The Cup to be run for each year and to be held by the winner for one year but must be returned to the Secretary on or before 1st March, 2022.
