FormscanBy Donal Murphy - It's difficult to be overly confident about any of these. Frontier General won a point-to-point on debut but has been very disappointing since, with cheekpieces and a tongue-strap deployed for the first time now. MACIVER will have the same combination of headgear and it might be worth taking a chance on this son of Shirocco. His dam Maryiver won twice at Tramore and she has already produced a few smart types. Mr Brogue is a half-brother to recent Wexford scorer Good Bye Milan and six-time winner Brogine. The Dylan Thomas gelding hasn't shown much to date but is tried in cheekpieces for the first time now and it'll be interesting to see how he fares. Gordon Elliott is represented by Breffni Brave and Devils Cape and they both warrant respect, while Sarsfield has three solid efforts to his name and is sure to have plenty of supporters. Market support for Bob The Builder would be significant. His shrewd connections would hardly be persisting with the five-year-old unless they thought he was capable of winning a race.
