FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Irish Lincoln winner KARAWAAN can win on handicap hurdle debut. A useful type on the flat, he won the 2019 Irish Lincoln for Ger Lyons and while he failed to win subsequently, did show plenty ability and comes here proven on testing ground. He has form over middle distances on the flat in Britain and, while 50L behind the winner at Fairyhouse recently, the drop to handicaps looks likely to bring about improvement and he is the type to comfortably win from his 106 rating. You Say Nothing was in strong contention when falling in an ordinary contest at Fairyhouse recently and while raised 2lbs for the fall, should still get be able to compete here. Arctic Light is a frustrating type but has his place chance while seven-time winner Cappacurry Zak disappointed on his most recent starts. Krickett ran a nice race on handicap debut at Clonmel in March and has place claims while well-bred Pairc Na Ngael is best watched for now with no headgear, tongue-tie or differing trip to help bring about the necessary improvement. Take All was second in an unplaced maiden at Tramore latest and has some place claims.
