FormscanBy Alan Magee - LISMORE won the Group 3 Henry II Stakes over this trip on soft ground at Sandown last year and the form of her close second to Coltrane in the Doncaster Cup last month also reads well. This represents a drop in class after taking on Kyprios in the Prix du Cadran. Beamish is unproven over this trip but is a progressive stayer who handles soft ground well and only just lost out in a three-way photo behind Duke De Sessa and Thunder Kiss at Leopardstown last month. Baron Samedi has proved a great servant to connections winning seven times including the Belmont Gold Cup over this distance last year. He was also placed in the Irish St Leger but comes here off a six-month break. Emily Dickinson also stays well and has been very consistent in Stakes company since winning a Naas maiden in April.
