FormscanBy Gary Carson - A good quality field but the two at the top look the pair to concentrate on. The vote goes to BALLYADAM who impressed when running out a cosy winner of the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse last month. For a former point-to-pointer he showed a nice turn of foot to put the race to bed then after what looked like only a steady gallop early on. He has two runs over timber now and the experience at this level may just give him the edge over Appreciate It. Last year's Cheltenham bumper runner-up was also a cosy winner when making his hurdling debut at Cork but was obviously expected to do that as a 1/12 shot. This is a much sterner test now on his second outing over timber. Of the others Call Me Lyreen hasn't done anything wrong to date and was a Grade 2 winner at Naas last month. He needs to step forward again in this company though.
