FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Irish National runner-up RUN WILD FRED has a big 158 rating and is a proven and experienced stayer. He blundered at halfway when beaten eight lengths in a Christmas Grade 1 race and should confirm form with third-placed Vanillier, who today concedes 8lbs, and fourth-placed Noble Yeats. Stattler was a smart novice hurdler and won well on chase debut. He competed well at Leopardstown, Cheltenham and Punchestown last season and while he too could have the beating of Vanillier receiving 8lbs on their fifth meeting today (currently tied at 2-2), lacks the experience of the selection. Farouk D'alene was narrowly beaten in a Limerick Grade 1 over Christmas and is another proven stayer who beat Vanillier, over hurdles, and Stattler, in a bumper, in the past. Stablemates Stratum and En Beton (left clear to win at Punchestown) both step up from beginners' company.
