FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SHELLY BANKS has ideal ground conditions and is fit and well. A Premier Handicap winner in June, she was neaten 1.25L into second by Pretty Boy Floyd at the Curragh recently but is 4lbs better off and has a small edge being the fresher horse, with Pretty Boy Floyd running at Navan 11 days ago. Pretty Boy Floyd, which also revels in testing ground, ran a solid race in defeat at Navan and has obvious claims despite meeting the selection 4lbs worse off. Sounds Of Spring also loves soft ground and comes here in good form and from the same rating as when runner-up at Naas recently. Cleveleys won on yielding here recently and could well be suited by softer ground today and is a reasonably unexposed 3yo. Jon Riggens won on his first run for his current trainer on easy ground at the Curragh in August but has been a little underwhelming in two handicap runs since while CD winner Mi Esperanza was behind both SHELLY BANKS and Pretty Boy Floyd on recent runs and has place claims. Abeona, which can be tricky to load, meets heavy ground for the first time on first outing since April.
