FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Wide-margin bumper winner ERINS BENEFIT has proven frustrating to follow over hurdles but might prove best today. She won a Bellewstown bumper by 19L in August and while she has yet to show that same form over jumps, has nonetheless run some useful races in defeat and comes here well experienced following a nice run when second from a mark of 114 in a Thurles handicap last month. Bohemian Birch was well beaten into third at Listowel in September (when the winner maintained a long lead virtually throughout) but did win at Sligo 48 days ago. She clearly has useful ability and while she is sure to be well schooled for jumps debut, it is interesting connections have opted to run her at 2m5f for that hurdles debut and she might struggle to beat the more experienced selection. Humble Glory could go well having run well in point-to-points but it is a negative connections have also opted to skip a bumper with her. Point-to-point winner Gale At Sea has been well beaten in two bumpers while lightly-weighted, claimer-ridden pair Moonlight Symphony and Wild Caprice have some place claims. Petite Dame was gambled on debut, ran well on second start but is best watched on jumps debut today.
