FormscanBy John O'Riordan - GREEN GLORY can continue the excellent recent form of the Charles Byrnes stable. A big priced winner of a bumper at the Punchestown festival, the five-year-old has shaped with plenty of promise on two runs over flights. The bare form of his recent fourth at Galway looks strong in the context of this race, so he is clearly the one to beat. Meetingofthewaters finished a place in front of the selection when they met at Cork last month but Green Glory made a mistake at the final flight which arguably cost him third. On overall form, one would expect the Byrnes horse to reverse those placings. However, Meetingofthewaters is a smart horse in his own right, so should be involved. Ballybawn Belter is another from that aforementioned Cork maiden that has her chance.
