FormscanBy Michael Graham - DARASSO is race fit after a fair third in a Grade 2 chase at Clonmel a fortnight ago. Prior to that, he was a more than decent third in the Kerry National at Listowel in September, and runner-up in the Galway Plate in July. He is very much at home on better ground. Cilaos Emery won this race last year off a break, so he is a significant threat. He didn't win any of his subsequent races last season, however, on his last outing he took the runner-up spot in a Grade 2 chase at Fairyhouse in April. On ratings, and indeed weights, both Escaria Ten and Mount Ida hold every chance. The former may be seen to better effect on slower ground while the latter is on a recovery mission after unseating in both the Aintree Grand National and the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.
