FormscanBy Alan Magee - MOONOVERCLOON has shown promise over hurdles and now switches to a bumper after a break of over five months. The Matt Smith-trained gelding filled fourth spot in a 2m4f maiden at Navan in December and that form could hardly have worked out much better with the first two, The Goffer and Highland Charge, both winning at Grade 3 level while the third also won a maiden recently at Tipperary. Realistic Optimism had Goldwyn behind when making a promising debut at Fairyhouse but disappointed subsequently on soft ground. Goldwyn has since shown useful placed form with plenty of cut in the ground, notably when a close third to Santonito at Navan. High City Roller ran too bad to be true when favourite on debut at Clonmel while any market move for We Had It All Said, a Flemensfirth gelding out of a bumper winner, would be interesting with Derek O’Connor booked for the ride.
