FormscanBy Michael Graham - This isn't a deep race and GORKI D'AIRY is taken to get off the mark. He wouldn't be one of the leading lights in Closutton but has been placed in two of his three maiden hurdles. He had several subsequent winners behind him when runner-up at Tramore on debut and a similar level of performance could suffice here. The 106-rated Mahons Glory has plenty of experience to call upon and should run his race. Lieutenant Highway has come third in all three of his bumpers. He was beaten a fair way when encountering testing conditions in Tramore last month, though, so has questions to answer on hurdling debut on this ground. Malinas Glory showed plenty of ability when runner-up at Clonmel in April. He weakened quickly on his next start but there is surely more in his locker. Hasty Brook could bounce back from a below-par effort in Thurles.
