FormscanBy Alan Magee - The highlight of the Flat season at this venue and perhaps REVE DE VOL can follow up a Listed race win at the Curragh. The son of Siyouni came up against some useful types in Stakes company last year and, having been gelded over the winter, overcame some trouble in running to pip Patrick Sarsfield by a head in the Orby Stakes. That form looks solid with the runner-up subsequently going close in the Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot and hopefully he can cope with this step up to a mile and a half. Layfayette won the Lincoln on soft ground at the Curragh in March and again ran well on contrasting ground in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot recently. He also filled the runner-up spot behind Haparanda when tried over this trip at Leopardstown last autumn.
