FormscanBy Michael Graham - A terrific race. FULLY CHARGED could land a good pot under 7lb-claimer Derek McGrath. The pair attempted to make all in a Grade B handicap chase at Punchestown last month, but were caught at the second last and finished third. That run can be viewed in a better light, though, as the runner-up came out and won the Killarney National on his next start. Fully Charged has two chase victories in his locker and will handle this ground. Max Flamingo enjoyed himself in a novice chase at Killarney earlier in the month. Prior to that, he was seventh in the Irish Grand National so he is a big player. Rock Road catches the eye off a very light weight. He returned from almost 10 months off to take second in the Adare Manor Opportunity Final Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown last month. He is a fascinating contender switched to fences where he was last seen winning at Kilbeggan in June 2020. Ilikedwayurthinkin ran a cracker in second in a Grade 3 handicap hurdle at Aintree in April. He has plenty of form over the bigger obstacles as well. He would prefer the ground to be on the slower side of good, though.
