FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Of the five barrier trials run over six-furlongs at Naas on May 29th, SNELLEN posted the fastest time when making all in her heat. The Gavin Cromwell-trained bay led home Mythology and he since ran a fine race to finish third on his official debut at the Curragh. The selection is upped in trip now to seven-furlongs and with very little form to go on, she looks the safest option. Relentless Flyer and Ameilya are two others that gained valuable experience at Naas, both finishing third in their respective trials. Joseph O'Brien trains the former and also saddles Sun Never Sets. The aforementioned trio all warrant respect, while the Jessica Harrington-trained Ennereilly is another leading hope. Owned by Kevin Prendergast and Jackie Bolger, Profit Refused is an interesting contender and is given second preference. She is out of a half-sister to Rebel's Romance, winner of the Breeders' Cup Turf at Keeneland in November.
