FormscanBy Donal Murphy - QUEEN'S PARDON might be able to take this wide-open contest. She finished fourth in a maiden at Navan last October and had four subsequent winners in behind. Trained by Eddie and Patrick Harty, she was again fourth on her return to action at Naas in late April and went down narrowly when third on her most recent outing. Might And Mercy was second on two of her three starts last year but failed to make an impact on her return to action at Naas. She probably needed that run and is given the chance to redeem herself with Colin Keane again in the saddle. Andromedas Kingdom caught the eye when fifth over the course and distance in early April, but he has been ultimately disappointing since. He is tried in blinkers for the first time now and it'll be interesting to see how he fares. A case can be made for many others, with Cailin Cliste, Inishmot Prince, Gordon Bennett and Arcanears all capable of making an impact.
