FormscanBy Mark Nunan - ROBBINIA was good on her chasing debut at Tramore and was still in with every chance when coming down at the final fence in a Grade 3 novice event at Galway. The daughter of Robin Des Champs wouldn’t have been far away had she stood up and can gain recompense here. Magic Daze was a much higher-rated hurdler than the selection and looks a big danger. She was an excellent second to her stable companion Telmesomethinggirl in the mares’ novice hurdle at Cheltenham in March. The fact that she jumped well when winning her only point-to-point is reassuring as she tackles racecourse fences for the first time. Kitty Galore won well at Sligo last week on her first run over the larger obstacles but dropped out tamely over hurdles at this venue on Monday.
