FormscanBy Mark Nunan - DRACO PULCHRAC wasn’t knocked about when running with a bit of promise on all-weather debut earlier in the month. Tony Martin’s charge was beaten little more than five lengths over this trip and a useful claimer now takes over on the Dragon Pulse filly whose half-sister won a maiden at this venue earlier in the year. With the stable going well, the unexposed three-year-old gets the vote to land this maiden handicap. King Lenox was touched off over course and distance a year ago from a mark of 60 and, after some good efforts over hurdles in recent months, is one to consider from his current rating. Dammit has gone close here in the past and was a fair fifth in a better race last time. The form of his yard entitles him to close consideration.
