FormscanBy Alan Magee - FENDI gets the vote in a low grade handicap. The selection filled the runner-up spot in a claiming maiden at Tipperary last summer and has been generally consistent since, notably finishing well when a close third behind Happenstance over seven here last time with Trident Star just a half-length away in fourth. The latter needs to bounce back after a couple of below par efforts, while Scat Maggie faded in the closing stages on her handicap debut in that Happenstance race and may struggle over this trip. Reigles is the only winner in the line-up having won a nursery over a similar trip at Bellewstown in September but the Ado McGuinness-trained filly has failed to recapture that form in four subsequent outings.
An extended handicap for three years old only rated 47-65Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
