FormscanBy Tom Weekes - BORLETTI ran a fine race when a two-lengths fifth in the Railway Stakes 11 days ago. He shaped well on debut and while a shade disappointing at Navan, may have benefitted from stepping up to six furlongs at the Curragh and holds a 101 rating. Blindsided has shown nice ability in his two starts but needs to improve on his Listowel runner-up effort to win. Blanc De Noir was behind Blindsided when slowly away and green on debut at the Curragh and connections have already opted for blinkers, which is concerning. Paulliac was eighth in that Curragh race but improved at Tipperary. Desert Haven is from a precocious family and cost 60,000gns at an April breeze-up sale while Jackstaff is out of an unraced dam who hails from a top class family, which includes Bosra Sham and Hector Protector.
