FormscanBy Mark Nunan - It all happened too quickly around Sligo’s sharp track for MISS FLORENTINE when she was a beaten favourite last time, but she’s had some good runs at the Curragh and the straight seven here should see her in a better light. The Hallowed Crown filly, fifth in a big field first time out this season, has shown enough to suggest that a handicap of this nature can come her way before long. Colin Keane rode his dad’s horse Treble Cone to win at this venue last year so it’s interesting that he prefers to partner Navorrosse here, and this filly went down by just a short head over course and distance last month. Tai Sing Yeh was hampered in fifth when not far behind the latter on that occasion and, although an infrequent winner, is another to consider. Mary Salome turns out again quickly after winning at Listowel on Sunday, but her trainer has said that she needs to hit the front late which will make things tricky for her inexperienced rider.
