Formscan By Michael Graham - REGINA DRACONES is very much at home on testing ground. The six-year-old mare's couple of hurdle victories came over similar trips to this and on testing ground. She arrives in form after winning her second start over fences in a beginners' chase in Clonmel at the start of the month. Exciting Oscar has won off an absence before (over hurdles) and will relish the trip and ground. There should be more to come from him over fences. Earths Furies has hit form this month and runs under a 5lb penalty for winning at this track on Sunday. This trip won't inconvenience Sean Says who got up by a nose over an extended 3m in Thurles before Christmas. However, that was on much better ground and, although she has form on winter ground, she may not want is as deep as this.

An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards rated 0-109 that have not won a steeplechase before 2nd May 2021, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each steeplechase won.
