Formscan By Michael Graham - THIS SONGISFORYOU has reached a triple-figure rating on the Flat and is fairly unexposed over flights. This former bumper winner had two races over hurdles when fifth at both Roscommon and Galway almost three years ago, and it is interesting that connections are trying again given how much money he has earned on the Flat in the intervening years. In The Trenches is a long-standing maiden across all codes, but finished runner-up in his last couple of hurdle contests. Market Ready doesn't have a lot of miles on the clock and was runner-up over a shorter trip at this track in April. It's All Clear has had some solid runs in bumpers and is one to note on hurdle debut.

I thought he might need the run as he thrived so well since Galway so didn't fill Michael (Mee, owner) with much confidence. It was a last minute declaration but thankfully it's all worked out as it's a great pot to get. He's a been a great horse and is very versatile. it was a very good ride but I probably didn't fill him with confidence either! I told him he might need the run and to ride him to run well, but he was ultra cool. He's still in the English Cambridgeshire in two weeks' time and if it turned up nice ground, he might go. He is ground dependent and likes to rattle off nice ground.
