Permission was given for Aim For The Moon (USA) and Book Of Life (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held, adjourned from Doncaster on 29 March 2025 into the fall of Monteria (IRE), ridden by Sam Feilden on the bend approximately 7 furlongs out.
Ethan Jones, the rider of Bulldog Spirit (IRE), unplaced, was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Monteria (IRE), when being momentarily crowded for room by Bulldog Spirit (IRE), had hit the rails becoming unbalanced and subsequently unseated Feilden.
Just inside the 2 furlong marker, Kalikapour (IRE), unplaced, shifted left-handed away from the whip before being corrected by its rider, tightening up Freddy Robinson (GB), placed third, which as a result also inconvenienced Bashful (GB), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching half a furlong out involving the winner, Destinado (GB), ridden by Mason Paetel; Life On The Rocks (IRE), placed second, ridden by Warren Fentiman and Annexation (FR), placed fourth, ridden by Molly Gunn.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Paetel was accompanied in the enquiry by a jockey coach.
Paetel was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed for a sustained period without sufficient or timely correction when insufficiently clear of Annexation (FR), which was taken off its intended line and received a bump, before Annexation (FR) then had to be checked by Gunn after being tightened for room between Destinado (GB) and Life On The Rocks (IRE), which had contributed by edging slightly left-handed from the outside and also resulted in Destinado (GB) giving a bump to Life On The Rocks (IRE).
Following the race, Liam Wright reported that Aim For The Moon (USA), unplaced, was slowly away; Morgan Cole reported that Waistcoat (GB), unplaced, ran too freely; Cian Horgan reported that Muhib (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run 1½ furlongs out.
; Molly Gunn reported that Annexation (FR), placed fourth, suffered interference inside the final furlong and Warren Fentiman reported that Life On The Rocks (IRE), placed second, suffered interference in the final half furlong.
