The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ragmans Corner, trained by Gerard Keane, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at its right nostril post race

T.P. Harney, rider of Ragmans Corner, trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was never going and may have burst

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident after the second last involving Miss Gherkin, ridden by H.E. Sexton, placed fifth, Fairyland Opera, ridden by Conor Clarke, placed second, Duke Of Leggagh, ridden by P. M. O'Brien, placed first and Mercury Mission (GB), ridden by P. Hanlon, placed third, where it appeared Mercury Mission received contact from both sides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Duke Of Leggagh making a mistake at the flight and going right and that no further action was warranted

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (120 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52.
