FormscanBy Tom Weekes - CATWALK KING steps up to this trip for the first time today but may prove good enough to win. He has proven himself a consistent and useful type and on a strict form line through Massey's Wood, whom he beat at Navan in January, has 9 or 10lbs in hand over Caltex, as Caltex was recently beaten by Massey's Wood's victim The Conditional at Thurles this month. CATWALK KING should get this trip and can be expected to run another big race. Caltex is himself very consistent and was just touched off at Thurles. He is now proven at this trip but might find the selection too good. Percy Veer was behind Caltex at Punchestown last month and should struggle to reverse form while Jammy George needs to show far than he did at Naas in January.
