FormscanBy Gary Carson - CLEAR SKIES can gain a valuable Listed success. The half-sister to Motivator was a revelation on the all-weather last winter and this return to a sounder surface will surely be in her favour now. She has run well to be placed at pattern level on her last two outings in more testing ground, particularly when giving weight away to the younger fillies in the Blue Wind Stakes at the Curragh last time, and deserves to get her head in front at this level. Turret Rocks looks an obvious danger and the handicapper has her rated just a pound below the selection. She has been keeping good company in Group races and this looks an easier task than she faced when fourth to Coronet at York recently. I'm So Fancy has a bit of ground to make up on Clear Skies from their Curragh runnings but her stable is in flying form. Elegant Pose disappointed at Newmarket earlier in the month but if she can recapture her form from last season she'd be a big player here.
