- Stewards Report
Permission was given for Anjella (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
There appeared to be interference between Fittleton Ferry (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Martin Dwyer and Hot Scoop (GB), placed second, ridden by Saffie Osborne approximately 1 furlong after the start.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident and after listening to their evidence it was found that no interference had taken place and the incident was caused by Hot Scoop (GB) hanging right- handed and making contact with the rail on a couple of occasions.
Following the race, Hayley Turner, the rider of Desert Marathon (GB), placed eighth, and Tom Marquand, the rider of Fille d'Or (IRE), unplaced, both reported their mounts ran too freely in the early stages.
William Buick reported that Easy To Dream (GB), placed fifth, hung right-handed in the early stages.
