Formscan By Shane Redmond - Perhaps the four-year-old WHO'S DA GOOSE (15) can add to last month's Wexford success. He was running in his first handicap hurdle that day and looked to score with a little in hand when beating the subsequent winner Sekakarama. He's 9lbs higher in the ratings now but might yet have the edge over both Buddy Holly who has joined Eric McNamara from Nicky Henderson, and the course winner Costanuci who showed a real return to form at Wexford in July and wasn't beaten all that far at Navan last weekend.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (110 = 12st)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - 1. Lady Riders who hold a Professional Licence under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim an allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 21st September). 2. Lady Riders who hold a Professional Licence under National Hunt Rules to ride in hurdle races issued by any Recognised Turf Authority who have not ridden 60 winners or more (up to and including 21st September). 3. Lady Riders who hold a Qualified Riders Permit Category ''C'' to ride under I.N.H.S. Rules. 4. Lady Riders who hold a Permit to ride in hurdle races against Professional Riders issued by any other Recognised Turf Authority. The IHRB have suspended the relevant parts of Rule 135 for the purposes of this race. I thought Thinking Man was really solid but when he got balloted out, I switched her to Ollie La Ba Ba. He’s a lovely little horse and he might tip away in that kind of company. It was a messy race. I think they went too hard and Gary was dropped in.
