Permission was given for Big Mojo (IRE) to go early to post and for Jonquil (GB), Shadow Of Light (GB), Rayevka (IRE) and Time For Sandals (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Sky Majesty (IRE) wore earplugs which were removed at the start.
Rayevka (IRE), trained by Francis-Henri Graffard, had entered the Parade Ring after the signal to mount had been given.
After being interviewed, Graffard was fined £1000.
Leaving the stalls, Shisospicy (USA), unplaced, jumped left-handed at the same time as Arabian Dusk (GB), unplaced, jumped right-handed, causing DAIBLO ROJO (IRE), unplaced, to become short of room and to lose its position.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approximately three furlongs out, SOLDIER’S HEART, unplaced, edged slightly left-handed taking Sayidah Dariyan (IRE), placed fourth, slightly off its intended line, causing Strong Warrior (GB), unplaced, to make contact with the hind quarters of Sayidah Dariyan (IRE), resulting in Strong Warrior (GB) having to steady.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Big Mojo (IRE), unplaced, jumped right-handed from the stalls and was denied a clear run approximately two furlongs out; Oisin Orr reported that Strong Warrior (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately two furlongs out; Colin Keane reported that Babouche (GB), unplaced, ran too free; Ryan Moore reported that Whistlejacket (IRE), placed sixth, was repeatedly denied a clear run inside the final furlong and a half and the Veterinary Officer reported that Diablo Rojo (IRE), unplaced, finished lame on its left-fore.
