Current Option I said he was a Stakes horse so he has proved me right; that's my first Listed winner and most horses I'd have for those races I'd usually sell, so it's great to be able to hold on to him. we weren't going to run and he was declared at the last minute as we found out Madhmoon and Sonaiyla weren't running so we said we'd give it a go. The big worry was he had two quick runs in Galway but he is tough. He is a smashing horse and we're going to have a lot of fun with him. He is progressing all the time and Gavin gave him a serious ride and settled him well. There is a Listed race in three weeks time at Leopardstown and then we'll probably find something for him on Champions Weekend and there's a Group 3 at Dundalk after that. He is very versatile ground-wise and I'm delighted for the lads that own him. He could go travelling later in the year, covid permitting.

Current Option He’s a very good horse and will probably go to Stakes company now. His work and Saltonstall’s was like chalk and cheese. The other horse came out and won the other day but the draw killed this horse. The draw is crucial here. The kid was very good on him again and I’ve had a week I’ll never forget with three winners. The Dooley’s and Bart (O’Sullivan), who started it all off, I have to really thank and the Shamrock boys are involved in this horse as well. I thought when he got 5lb (for finishing second) at the Curragh that it would goose us for Galway but I was wrong and he (the handicapper) was right! . I’ve never won a Stakes race before, so hopefully I have a few horses that are capable of doing it now.

Guinevere I'm delighted with that. She did what I thought she'd do the last day, she was disappointing in Cork,. I loved the way she came up the hill today. The long term plan all along was the Lartigue Hurdle in Listowel, which we won last year with Razoul, and she'll probably end up there. She goes on any ground, it doesn't make a difference to her.

Act Of God I was hoping he'd run well in his first handicap (hurdle), he was in good form for his first run back and I was hoping for the best. He won't go to Galway and has won twice around Tramore so could go back there. He could run again on the flat and I'll discuss it with Mr Comer. I had a winner for Brian (Comer) at Kilbeggan last Friday too and it's nice to have another one.

Chiricahua He's still immature, he's a baby and we asked him a massive ask to run him in the Derby, and it was unfair of us to do that on him with the year it was and without a run. In fairness to Colin (Keane) he looked after him (in the Derby). This is more like it - we'll take baby steps after today and climb up the ranks. He's a horse going forward that we will geld. Being by Camelot we will look forward to him as he's a big, gorgeous, handsome horse that can have a nice campaign next year. He can go on any ground to be fair. He travelled there and he has a touch of class hence why we ran him in the Derby. There are big races to be won with this lad over trips next year.

Bolleville Shane said he was always happy with her. She travelled great and he said she kept quickening all the way to the line. She loved the ground and it's a while since she ran so she can only improve again off it. Today was basically a finding out mission and she's done it nicely so she could be very useful. Shane and Declan (McDonogh) share most of the rides but Eddie is a big part of the team and it's unfortunate that he's missed out on this. Shane switched onto her after Raise You (change in going) was taken out and he's given her a lovely ride. She's by Camelot so she's going to be a valuable broodmare one day. Hopefully she has a good future before that.

Even So She's a lovely filly and she has just thrived week on week,. I was disappointed with her in Naas when she got beaten by Lemista but Lemista has turned out special. I love how she has come on physically. Did I think she'd win an Oaks? - no I didn't but when she won the Oaks trial she earned her right to be here and if you're not in it you can't win it. It's just fantastic and it's good that these owners are now with me, with a good trainer for a change!. They were spoiling Aidan, this thing is easy when you get this type of horse. I was saying how great Aidan is but when you get the horses it's easy!. It's a great result, I'm delighted for Colin and for the team. I was just joking saying we should keep the country in lockdown because it's working for me anyway. I'm thrilled because I love this filly. I thought she was smart. I didn't know what an Oaks filly was but I said if we had one this was her. She's gone and done it so I'm delighted. I'm delighted for the owners. It was lovely to watch, it was different to Siskin. I couldn't breathe watching Siskin but with this one I enjoyed it all the way up the straight. I never had a worried moment which is a strange thing to say. There is no pressure from the owners and they are straight-forward to work for. They've been around a long time and know more than I do. They've picked us for a reason and let us do our job which makes life so much easier. I'd be lying if I said we had a plan, we'll enjoy this. I genuinely didn't think she

Even So She's as game as a pebble. She came out of the Guineas in great form. She doesn't show an awful lot but is one of those fillies that brings it to the racecourse and Colin said she was even a little bit fresh in his hands. The plan was always to go for the (Irish) Oaks as we know that (trip) is exactly what she wants. Fingers crossed she thrives after this and with a little bit of cut in the ground that is where she goes.

King Pellinor It was a good performance. She ran a bit too free here last time,. I said to Wayne to put her to sleep today and have her coming home. He gave her a fantastic ride. I suppose being a filly with a good pedigree, and after winning a good pot today, we'll try and get some black-type. We'll see what the handicapper does.

King Pellinor I'm delighted with that. I'm delighted for Jack (Cantillon) and all in the syndicate. There are a big team of people in the horse and they will have got great sport out of that,. Dylan gave him a lovely ride from the draw. He's a consistent horse and has progressed with his runs. It worked out well for him today. He travelled into the straight and there was a good gallop on in front of him.
Fairyhouse Thu, 18th Jun, 2020
Romantically It was good to get her to win on grass for Johnny Connaughton,. He's looking on from home and she's a home-bred filly. His other horse Yenillik ran a cracker last night to be second. That's her second win. Billy said she loved that little bit of ease in the ground. We'll keep rolling along in handicaps and she's thriving on racing.

Moll Team Valor bought her and she came to me about ten days after she won in Dundalk. She’s a nice filly and was just ready to run today. I think she’ll progress. It looked a nice spot to start and thankfully it worked out. She’ll have no bother stepping up in trip. We’ll see what the handicapper does but she has the ability to go into Stakes company. Her owners are game and I’d imagine they would like to travel with her in time.
