FormscanBy Donal Murphy - This looks a clear match between JETT and Tombstone, with the former marginally preferred. He finally made the breakthrough over fences at Thurles last month, and there should be more to come from the well-bred son of Flemensfirth. He was second to Yorkhill in a Grade 3 at Leopardstown in January, and he races here off a mark of 142. Things haven't really gone according to plan for Tombstone since switching to the larger obstacles. He was beaten into second on his debut over fences at Fairyhouse in October, before getting off the mark on his next start at Down Royal. He again had to settle for the runner-up spot in the Craddockstown at Punchestown last month, and it appeared on that occasion that he might in fact benefit from a step up in trip.
