Dual course winner Annie Fior will face 10 rivals in the Ashgrove Stables Irish EBF Fillies Handicap at Gowran on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Brendan Murphy-trained five-year-old has already won three times this season, and performed with credit in stronger contests on her last two starts at Naas and the Curragh respectively.

Back against her fellow fillies in the feature race on the card, with Adam Farragher taking a valuable 7lb off, a bold bid can be expected from the 87-rated chestnut.

Joseph O'Brien saddles four in this seven-furlong heat, with Waitingfortheday and Dramatise the pick of his quartet.

Limerick winner Mary Salome is sure to have plenty of supporters with Chris Hayes aboard, while Honor Oak is another leading contender.

Billy Lee takes the ride on Honor Oak, and he will also partner Arabeska in the opening Kullens Kitchen Thomastown Irish EBF Maiden.

Placed on her last three starts, the Willie McCreery-trained bay would be a deserving winner of this seven-furlong contest.

Lee and McCreery are represented by Faerie Laws in the UPMC/Whitfield Handicap, and this daughter of Lawman looks to have solid claims in what is a wide-open affair. Up Helly Aa is another strong contender for team McCreery and Lee, among a field of 14 for the concluding Care At Kissane’s Pharmacy Maiden.

An eye-catching second on debut at Cork, the well-bred son of Galileo may be able to go one place better.

The Tom McCourt trained Lady Scathach is likely to prove popular with punters in the GAIN Equine Nutrition Apprentice Handicap.

Having won her last two over the course and distance, the daughter of Zoffany will bid to complete a memorable hat-trick. Sweet Dime and Jumellea appear the two to focus on in the Kilkenny City & County Vintners Irish EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden, while Pepperoni Pete may be able to follow up on his recent Cork success in the PRL Kilkenny Handicap.
