Easy opening race win for Tarla

The Willie Mullins trained Tarla under Ruby Walsh, readily justified 9/10 favouritism to win the rescheduled Grade 3 Grabel Mares Hurdle at Punchestown today
The daughter of Lavirco made all in the 2m2f contest and had no trouble quickening clear of her rivals from two out, eventually coasting home the impressive 12 lengths winner from Benny's Fagartha
Afterwards Mullins stated “Tarla just didn't handle the ground at Listowel – soft ground there is different, eventhough this was quite testing today.
“We are debating whether to go over fences or stay hurdling – looking at her there she'll have no problems jumping a fence and over the next month we'll have a think and see.
“She certainly looks as good a mare as there is around and while there's a nice mares series over hurdles, there is also a good programmer over fences for her – if she goes chasing I'd prefer to go earlier that later.”
