The going at Leopardstown is currently Yielding to Soft (chase course) and Soft (hurdle track). There was 6mm of rain yesterday.

The Grade 1 Lexus Steeplechase takes centre stage at 2.55pm. Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Bobs Worth has crossed the Irish Sea from Nicky Henderson's yard and disputes favouritism with Sir Des Champs who was second in that blue riband event and fourth in this race last year.

Solwhit is a notable non-runner from the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle. The hot favourite was found to be lame. This leaves four to go to post. Zaidpour for Willie Mullins and Ruby Walsh will be popular.

Meanwhile, Limerick reports its ground to be Heavy after 6.5mm of rain yesterday.

The Grade 3 Liberty Insurance Novice Hurdle is off at 1.35pm. Unbeaten Faugheen comes up against Azorian and Lots Of Memories in this contest.
