An eight-race card on the Polytrack at Dundalk gets under way at 2pm today.

There has been early support for Mick Halford's Spelga in the apprentice handicap at 2.35pm. All three of his career victories have come in Dundalk and he is around 7/4 from 11/4.

Meanwhile, in the first split of the six-furlong handicap (at 4.10pm) Pillar represents an in-form Ado McGuinness and has been backed from 6/1 to 7/2.

The ground at Fairyhouse remains Soft to Heavy ahead of racing tomorrow at 12.30pm. There is a risk of scattered showers today and tomorrow.

Racing will take place on the inside track for the point-to-point day.
