Midnitemudcrabs made all to score on her debut for Johnny Feane in the opener at Dundalk, the Your Local Value Centre Median Auction Maiden.
Previously trained in the UK by Marco Botti, the daughter of Arcano was available at 12/1 in a place this morning but she went off at just 6's.
Sent straight to the front by Gary Halpin she was ridden with a furlong to race and kept on well from there to see off the challenge of Set To Fire by half a length.
The runner-up was returned at 9/2 under Connor King for Johnny Murtagh while Dottie Lottie (16/1) was a neck back in third under Ronan Whelan for Pat Martin. Ruby Gates was sent off the even money favourite and she was a further length and a half back in fourth under Seamie Heffernan for Aidan O’Brien.
Johnny Feane, who also owns the winner, said afterwards: "She was very keen out in front but she stayed at it.
"We found a nice opportunity for her so it was great. I have her about four months.
"We'll drop her back in trip and she should be competitive off her mark."
