Shattered Love the 1/6 favourite, came home in a different parish to her six rivals in the mares' beginners' chase at Fairyhouse.

The 1/6 favourite was making her debut over fences after some classy hurdle performances, including when victorious in a Grade Three at this track in February.

She was briefly headed by Conduct Yourself after the fourth last as the pair raced well clear.

However, Conduct Yourself made a mistake at the third last and Shattered Love eased past and soon went clear.

She cruised home, under Jack Kennedy, by 26 lengths from her 6/1 chance Conduct Yourself.

Gordon Elliott said: "It wasn't a great race and on ratings she was entitled to win it. Jack said she never really came out of second or third gear but she wouldn't have wanted to.

“She jumped well and did everything right but she'd have to up her game from that again to go to the next level.

“He said she jumped well the whole way; I loved how down over the last two she was straight as a die.

“We're under no illusions that she's going to have improve a lot from that run and we'll see what happens.”

Shattered Love won a mares' maiden point-to-point at Lemonfield in March 2015.
