Johnny Murtagh bagged a Dundalk double, starting with Russet s win under a determined Colin Keane in the Big Bad Bob Fillies Maiden.

The 7-1 chance pulled clear with Touch Of Gold entering the final two furlongs, with both fillies battling bravely all the way to the line.

Murtagh's filly just got the better of the argument close home, winning by half a length.

The double came when Maronella (8-1) squeezed up the rail to land the Download The At The Races App Apprentice Maiden under his daughter Caroline, beating Wheels Of Fortune by a length and a quarter.

Keane landed a brace of his own when guiding Alnahar to victory in the first division of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race And Stay Handicap.

The 8-1 chance fairly romped clear in the closing stages, giving trainer Natalia Lupini her first ever winner.< Ringside Humour ended a string of placed efforts with a gutsy victory in the most valuable race on the card, the attheraces.com Handicap.

Favourite Hat Alnasar led for much of the mile contest, but Jim Bolger's 13-2 chance was never far away and after getting in front under Kevin Manning close home, she boxed on well to beat Brosnan by half a length.< Tribal Path followed up an impressive win from a couple of weeks ago with a gutsy success in the Valentine's Weekend Special At Dundalk Stadium Handicap.

Donagh O'Connor was very positive on Damian English's 7-2 chance, and though he looked a sitting duck approaching the final furlong, he kept finding more to edge out Captain Midnight by a head.

Young apprentice Killian Leonard timed it right on Kiss The Stars in the Follow At The Races On Twitter Handicap.

Tom McCourt's 14-1 chance collared favourite Primo Uomo in the final furlong and ran on well to score by a length and a quarter.

Aidan Howard's Excelli (9-4 favourite) proved too good for his rivals in the Dundalk Stadium Winter Series Leading Jockey And Trainer Championship under MIchael Hussey.
